Mrs. Minnie Catherine Lowery, age 87, of Lumberton, went to be with her Lord on Thursday, March 21, 2013 at Southeastern Hospice House in Lumberton. She was born in Robeson County on November 5, 1925. She was preceded in death by her husband, Britton Lowery and her children, James Stanford Locklear, Sheila Locklear and Linda Lewis. Mrs. Lowery is survived by her son, David Lowery (Sheila) of Lumberton; two daughters, Patty Lowery Jones (Charles) of Lumberton and Katherine Jacobs (Donnie Ray) of Rennert; one brother, Donald Locklear of Rennert; one sister, Annie Neal Locklear of Fairmont; fifteen grandchildren and thirty great-grandchildren.
