Minnie Louise Jacobs, 87, of 2811 Hilly Branch Road, Lumberton, NC died Friday, February 13, 2009 at Southeastern Hospice House. She was born to the late Willie Smith and Luvenia
Hammonds Smith on April 2, 1921 in Robeson County, NC.

She was also preceded in death by her husband, Wardell Jacobs.

She is survived by 3 sons, Tracy Jacobs of Lumberton, NC, Lacy Jacobs of Chadbourn, NC
and Prather Jacobs of Raleigh, NC; 2 daughters, Esther McRae of Lumberton, NC and Betty Lewis of Lumber Bridge, NC; 1 brother, Doc Smith of Lumberton, NC; 1 sister, Susie Johnson of
Hope Mills, NC; 9 grandchildren; and 15 great grandchildren.

The funeral service will be Tuesday, February 17, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. at Northside Independent Baptist Church with the Rev. Bobby Burns, Rev. Jack Murray and Rev. Timmy Hunt officiating. Burial will follow at Pleasant View Baptist Church Cemetery in Fairmont, NC.
