Mrs. Minnie Leigh Britt Taylor, age 76, of Lumberton, passed away on Thursday, June 20, 2013 at Southeastern Health in Lumberton. She was born in Robeson County on September 10, 1936 to the late John Rowland Britt and the late Letha Collins Britt. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, George Franklin Taylor; three brothers, Horace Britt, Lawrence Britt and W.A. Britt. Mrs. Taylor is survived by her daughter, Kathy Taylor Brust and husband, Charles, of Bladenboro; two brothers, Alton Britt and Billy Ray Britt, both of Orrum; a sister, Ann Britt Perritt of Lumberton; two grandchildren, Kaitlin Marie Brust and John-Franklin Taylor Brust; and a niece, Sara Collins and husband, Reggie, of Lumberton and many other nieces and nephews. A time of visitation will be held on Friday, June 21, 2013 from 6:00-8:00PM at Floyd Mortuary & Crematory, Inc., 809 East 5th Street, Lumberton. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 22, 2013 at 2:00PM at Broadridge Baptist Church with Rev. Charles Brust and Rev. Mike Longson officiating. Burial will follow in Broadridge Baptist Church Cemetery.
