Minnie Anna Williamson Britt, age 89 of Orrum, passed away Saturday, January 30, 2016 at Southeastern Regional Medical Center in Lumberton.

Funeral services will be held Monday, February 1, 2016 at 11:00AM at Bloomingdale Baptist Church with Rev. Tommy Fields officiating.

Burial will follow in Walters Family Cemetery, Creek Rd. Orrum.

Visitation will be held Sunday afternoon from 4:00PM-6:00PM at Floyd Funeral Services in Fairmont

She was born December 20 1926 in Columbus County. She enjoyed crossword puzzles, vegetable gardening, visits from family and friends. She was a long time member of Bloomingdale Baptist Church where she taught the adult Sunday School class for many years.. She was a wonderful mother, and set a Godly example for others to follow.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Alva Williamson and Minnie Brown Williamson; her husband, Gurnice Britt; a daughter, Sharon Britt White; and a son, Michael Britt

She is survived by two daughters, Frances Britt Scott of Lake View, SC, and Sheila Britt Heller of Southport; seven grandchildren, Ellis Scott, Shannon Scott Harrelson, Meghan Heller, John Heller, Lawrence White, Christopher White and Justin White; nine great grandchildren; and one great-great grandson; and numerous nieces and nephews.
