Mildred O??Berry King, age 69, of Fairmont, passed away on Sunday, May 8, 2011 at Southeastern Regional Medical Center in Lumberton. She was born on Jarratt, VA on August 14, 1941 to the late William Henry O??Berry and Effie Grizzard O??Berry.

Mrs. King is survived by two sons, Timothy Anderson King and Mack Anthony King, both of Emporia, VA; four daughters, Marion Ann Major of Lawrenceville, VA, Wendy King Hunt of Fairmont, NC, Angela King Chavis of Pembroke, NC and Kristie King Goins of Fairmont, NC; three brothers, William Henry O??Berry of Alexadria, VA, John Wayne O??Berry of Jarratt, VA and Charles Lee O??Berry of Highland Springs, VA; twenty grandchildren and nineteen great-grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 11, 2011 at 2:00PM at Floyd Funeral Services Chapel in Fairmont, NC with Rev. Daniel Goins and Rev. Greg O??Berry officiating. Burial will follow at Fair Point Cemetery in Fairmont, NC.

A time of visitation will be held on Tuesday evening, May 10, 2011 from 7:00-9:00PM at Floyd Funeral Services, Inc., 1549 Marion Stage Road, Fairmont, NC.
