Mildred Hazel Gordon Hall, age 101, of Lumberton, NC, went to her Heavenly home on Thursday, November 5, 2020.  She was born in Lee County, NC to the late Marshall Herbert Gordon and the late Patti Gunter Gordon on August 18, 1919.  Sister Hall served as Martha for many years in the Order of the Eastern Star .  She was also a longtime member of First Baptist Church in Lumberton, NC and Susie Scales' Floral Club as well as a former hair stylist.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Leon Hall; two brothers, Artis Gordon and Marshall Herbert Gordon, Jr.; and one sister, Gladys Johnson.

Mrs. Hall is survived by her nieces: Patty Bell of Siler City, NC, Gloria Mims  of Columbus, GA, Wilma Moore of Fayetteville, NC, and Patsy Ellerbee (William) of Sanford, NC; her great-nieces: Katina Carr (Nicholas), Tonya Johnson, Monica Moore; her nephews: Carlos Mims (Angelite) and Richard Moore, Jr. (Awa); her godson, Robert Shaw of Lumberton; her close cousin, Everett Dorsett;  two very special neighbors and caregivers, Gwendolyn Roberts-Payne of Lumberton, NC and Billie Ann McRae of Lumberton, NC; and her loving cat, Sam.

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, November 10, 2020 at 2:00PM at Meadowbrook Cemetery in Lumberton, NC with Rev. Gwendolyn Roberts-Payne officiating.
