Mildred Elizabeth Cook Hodge, 84, of Lumberton died Tuesday, August 18, 2009 at Southeastern Hospice House in Lumberton.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Nash Hodge and a daughter, Jean Hodge Melendrez.

She is survived by a daughter, Sandra Pridgen and husband Donald of Kernersville, NC; a sister, Thelma Cooke of Vass, NC; three grandchildren, one great-grandchild, one great-great grandchild and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, August 19, 2009 from 7:00-9:00PM at Floyd Mortuary & Crematory, Inc., 809 East 5th Street, Lumberton.

Funeral will be Thursday, August 20, 2009 at East Lumberton Baptist Church at 2:00PM with Rev. J. Michael Carter and Rev. Roger Worley officiating.
