Michael M. White, age 83, of Chesterfield, SC, formerly of Lumberton, NC, passed away on Sunday, June 15, 2014 at his home in Chesterfield, VA. He was born on October 22, 1931 in Chesterfield, SC to the late Ernest F. White and the late Madge B. White. He was a Nuclear Health Physicist with the US Government. He is survived by his wife, Rebecca B. White; son and daughter-in-law, David White and Robin White, and granddaughter Jillian Renee White of Midlothian, VA. A funeral service will take place on Thursday, June 19, 2012 at 11:00 AM at Floyd Memorial Chapel, 809 E. 5th Street, Lumberton, with Rev. Joe Bounds officiating. Entombment will follow at Meadowbrook Cemetery, Lumberton, NC. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to: Alzheimer's Association at alz.org/donate.
