Michael T. Prevatte, age 57, of Lumberton, NC died on Wednesday, September 21, 2016 at Southeastern Regional Medical Center in Lumberton.  He was born in Robeson County, NC on October 23, 1958 to Norman T. Prevatte and Betty Lou West Prevatte.  He previously worked as a transporter for Southeastern Regional Medical Center.

Mr. Prevatte is survived by his parents, Norman T. and Betty Lou West Prevatte;  a sister, Norma P. Britt (C. Ray); a nephew, Jeremy Britt (Joni) of Lumberton; a niece, Stacy Britt of Lumberton; and great-nephews, Luke, Josiah, and Jaxon.

A time of visitation will be held on Friday, September 23, 2016 from 7:00-9:00 PM at Floyd Mortuary & Crematory, Inc., 809 East 5th Street in Lumberton.

The funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 24, 2016 at 2:00 PM at Floyd Memorial Chapel with Rev. Mark Meadows and Rev. Marc McFarland officiating.  Burial will follow in Floyd Memory Gardens.
