Michael Don Phillips, age 38, died on Sunday, January 21, 2018.   He was born in Robeson County, NC on February 18, 1979 to Donald Ray Phillips and Maria Molina Phillips.  He was previously employed as a machine operator at International Paper.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Clarence Dean and Lillian Mae Phillips and maternal grandparents, Arturo and Magdalena Molina.

Mr. Phillips is survived by his parents; a sister, Kelly Phillips Rogers (Raymond) of Lumberton; a niece, Kaylee Rae Rogers; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and extended family members.

A time of visitation will be held on Friday, January 26, 2108 from 6:00-8:00 PM at Floyd Mortuary & Crematory, Inc., 809 East 5th Street in Lumberton.  The funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 27, 2018 at 1:00 PM at Floyd Memorial Chapel with Rev. Charles Brust officiating.  Burial will be private.

In lieu of flowers memorials are encouraged to be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
