Mr. Michael Hunt, age 55, of Fairmont passed away Saturday, July 6, 2019 at Southeastern Regional Medical Center in Lumberton, N.C.

Funeral services will be held Thursday July 11, 2019 at 3:00PM  at Pleasant View Baptist Church with Revs. Ricky Burnett and Jerry Groves officiating.

Burial will follow in Pleasant View Baptist Church Cemetery.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, July 10, 2019 from 7:00PM-9:00PM at Floyd Funeral Services in Fairmont.

Mr. Hunt was born February 29, 1964 in Robeson County.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Datrus "Doc" Hunt and Queen Esther Hunt; a brother, Ronnie Hunt.

He is survived by one son, Alan Matthew Hunt of Goose Creek, SC; three daughters, Sylvia Alita Cummings, Queen Amanda Hunt and Michelle Hunt all of Lumberton, three brothers, Datris Hunt, Jr. of Fairmont, McGregory Hunt of Pembroke, and Jerry Hunt of Fayetteville; four sisters, Minnie Lee Hunt and Linda Hunt both of Fairmont, Janice Jacobs of Lumberton, and Beatrice Smith of Fayetteville; a step sister, Judy Scott of Fairmont; and three grandchildren, Bryce Isaiah Haywood, Mason Kai Haywood and Tobias Harold Cummings; and a host of other relatives and friends
