Michael Donavon Hathway, age 42, of Lumberton, NC, passed away on Saturday, November 11, 2023. He was born in Robeson County, NC on May 15, 1981.

He is survived by his daughter, Leah Hathway of Lumberton, NC; his parents, Dale & Teresa Hathway of Lumberton, NC; his sister, Crystal Delozier and husband Clift of Ft. Mill, SC; his nephews, Adam Singletary and Landon Delozier; his maternal grandparents, David & Helen Wilkins of Lumberton, NC; his uncles: Timmy Wilkins and his children, Justin Wilkins and Chassidy Paust, and Darryl Wilkins and wife Barbara and their daughter, Kayla Wilkins, all of Lumberton, NC; his aunt, Charlotte Freeman and husband Teddy and their children, Xanna Freeman and Greyson Freeman, all of Lumberton, NC; and his stepson, Tyler Stone.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Alton & Sallie Hathway.

The family will receive friends and loved ones prior to the service on Saturday, November 18, 2023, from 12:00-2:00 PM at Abe Branch Holiness Church, 965 Marsh Road in Bladenboro, NC. Following the visitation, a funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM with Rev. David Clewis and Rev. Teddy Freeman officiating. Burial will follow at Floyd Memory Gardens, 3720 Old Whiteville Road in Lumberton, NC.
