Michael Hugh Bloomer, age 45, died on Thursday, March 28, 2013 at the UNC Medical Center in Chapel Hill, NC. He was born in Otsego, NY on November 5, 1967 to Malcolm Bloomer and Doretha Browning. He worked as a Housing Specialist for Eastpointe Human Services. He was a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Pembroke, member of Phi Mu Alpha Sinphonia, band director at Lumberton Junior High School, administrative director of the Carolina Civic Center, manager of McFadyen Music in Fayetteville, band member of Hyde Park Baptist Church, and a choir member of Trinity Episcopal Church. He dedicated his life to being a positive influence in the life of others. Mr. Bloomer is survived by his parents, Malcolm Bloomer of Mt. Vision, NY and Doretha Browning of Hope Mills, NC; his wife, Denise Anderson Bloomer of the home; sons, Ryan Michael Bloomer, Tyler Nicholas Bloomer, and Anderson Bryce Bloomer, all of the home; and a brother, Malcolm "Mackie" Bloomer of Bath, ME.
