Melissa Dial, age 35, of St. Pauls, passed away on Sunday, September 15, 2013. She was born in Robeson County on December 21, 1977 to the late Roscoe Dial and the late Sarah Frances Dial. She was previously employed as a Certified Nursing Assistant. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Randolph Dial and Danny Dial and a nephew, Brian Caison. Ms. Dial leaves to cherish her memories with her two sons, Lakota Locklear and Chad Lowery, both of the home; her daughter, Marissa Locklear, also of the home; her brothers, Al Junior Jacobs of Lumberton, Pete Jacobs of St. Pauls, Roscoe Dial, Jr. of Lumberton, Terry Dial of Raeford and Lee Everette Dial of Virginia Beach, VA; her sisters, Phyllis Jacobs, Mary Caison, Wanda Dial and Linda Jacobs, all of Lumberton, Macie Lewis of High Point, Brenda Hunt of Archdale, Rosemary Locklear of Bristol, TN, Barbara Hunt of Lumberton, Letha D. Strickland of Laurinburg and Kathan Locklear of Pembroke. A time of visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 17, 2013 from 7:00-9:00PM at Floyd Mortuary & Crematory, Inc., 809 East 5th Street, Lumberton. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 18, 2013 at 3:00PM at Bayside Freewill Baptist Church in Lumberton with Rev. James Mitchell Cummings and Rev. Martin Jacobs officiating. Burial will follow at Floyd Memory Gardens in Lumberton.
