Max Spurgeon Floyd, age 63, of Fairmont passed away Friday, January 3, 2020. Max was born December 30, 1956 in Robeson County to the late William Price Floyd and Meta Frink Floyd.

He is survived by his wife, Kathy Byrd Floyd of the home; a brother, William Lynn Floyd of Fairmont; a sister, Amanda Floyd Brewer (Danny) of Fairmont; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Willie & Patricia Byrd; and several nieces, nephews, and many friends.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, January 5, 2020, from 6-8pm at Baltimore Baptist Church.

Funeral services will be held Monday, January 6, 2020, at 2pm at Baltimore Baptist Church with Rev. Steve Johnson. Burial will follow in Floyd Memorial Cemetery in Fairmont, NC.
