Maurice John Walters, Sr.'s Obituary
Maurice John Walters, Sr., 81, of 105 Ethan Street, Lot 89, Lumberton, NC died at Southeastern Hospice House Wednesday, March 18, 2009.
Mr. Walters owned Helen and John Walters Small Boat Repair in Southport, NC. He was a greeter and member of Cedar Grove Baptist Church in Lumberton. The family would like to thank Liberty Hospice for the special care that they gave to Mr. Walters.
He is survived by his sons, Mark Walters and wife, Ashley of McLeansville, NC and John Walters, Jr. of Greensboro, NC; sisters, Muline Britt and Betty Lou Stevenson both of Lumberton, NC; special friend, Christine Britt of Lumberton, NC; and special niece, Sharon Britt of Lumberton, NC.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, March 21, 2009 from 7:00-9:00 PM at Floyd Mortuary & Crematory, Inc. in Lumberton, NC.
Funeral services will be Sunday, March 22, 2009 at Cedar Grove Baptist Church at 2:00 PM with the Reverends Charles Brust and Rev. Darrell Floyd officiating.
