Maurice Hall Walters' Obituary
Mr. Maurice Hall Walters, age 69, of Orrum, passed away Monday, October 22, 2018. He was born on July 9, 1949 in Robeson County to the late Dannie Morris Walters and Sue Hall Walters. He was formerly employed as a fuel handler with Progress Energy, Inc.
He was preceded in death by his father.
He is survived by his mother, Sue, who lives in Orrum; his wife of 46 years, Susan Moore Walters of the home; his children: Chad Walters (April) and Hollie Walters Bass (Paul), all of Lumberton; eight granddaughters; and three brothers: Dannie Steve Walters (Yvonne Britt), Byron Walters, and Tony Ray Britt (Marie), all of Orrum.
The family will be gathering and receiving friends at 4001 Kings Cross Road in Lumberton.
The family will also receive friends on Thursday, October 25, 2018, from 7:00-9:00 PM at Floyd Mortuary & Crematory, Inc. in Lumberton.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 26, 2018, at 2:00 PM at Floyd Memorial Chapel with Rev. Joe Bounds officiating. Burial will follow at Fairmont Cemetery.
