Mrs. Mattie Lee Taylor Bryan, age 89, of Kure Beach, NC, passed away Wednesday, January 15, 2020, at Lower Cape Fear Hospice of Wilmington, NC. She was born on January 11, 1931 in Robeson County, NC to the late Dennis Taylor and the late Gertrude Taylor. She was formerly employed with Lumbee Farms Co.

Along with her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Tom A. Bryan; her son, Lynn Bryan; her brother, Julius "Buddy" Taylor; and two sisters, Ava T. Crump and Hilda T. Bryan.

She is survived by her daughter, Teresa Bryan Bowman and husband Wayne Bowman of Kure Beach, NC; two grandchildren, Warren Bowman and Matthew Bowman; and two sisters, Sarah T. Allen and husband Sammy of Lumberton, NC and Betty T. Blankenship of Gastonia, NC.

The family will receive friends prior to the service on Sunday, January 19, 2020, from 1:30-2:30 PM at Floyd Mortuary & Crematory, Inc., 809 E. 5 ^th Street in Lumberton, NC. Following the visitation, a funeral service will be held at 2:30 PM in the chapel with Rev. Gerald Tew officiating.

Burial will follow at Gardens of Faith Cemetery, 5190 Fayetteville Road in Lumberton, NC.
