Mrs. Mary Frances Rogers Scott, age 88, of Lumberton, passed away on Friday, August 6, 2021, at Southeastern Hospice House in Lumberton.  She was born in Robeson County, NC on April 17, 1933 to the late George Memory Rogers and Mary Lou Hardin Rogers.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Billy Frank Rogers, and a sister, Martha Jo Rogers.

Mrs. Scott is survived by her husband of sixty-nine years, Layton Scott of the home; two daughters, Mary Beth Pepper (Dave) of Atlanta, GA and Jane Stone (Michael) of Cumming, GA; three sisters, Donna Sparks of Gainesville, FL, Marilyn Bowman of Greensboro, NC, and Phyllis Brice (Jimmy) of Elizabethtown, NC; one granddaughter, Sarah Barber (Adam); and one great-grandchild, Jordan Barber.

A time of visitation will be held from 1:00-2:00PM on Monday, August 9, 2021, at Floyd Mortuary & Crematory, Inc., 809 East 5 ^th Street, Lumberton.

A funeral service will follow the visitation on Monday, August 9, 2021, at 2:00PM at Floyd Memorial Chapel with Rev. Herbert Lowry officiating.  Burial will follow at Meadowbrook Cemetery in Lumberton.
