Mary Jaqueline (Jackie) Lowery, age 84, of Pembroke, NC passed away Wednesday, April 3rd, 2013 at McLeod Regional Medical Center in Florence, SC. She was born in Baltimore, MD to the late William and Mary C. Travers. Jackie was a devoted mother of three children; she worked as a teacher, a railroad block operator and as a business woman and retired to Pembroke, NC. In addition to her parents, Jackie is preceded in death by her brother William Travers Jr. and her grandson, Ben Hopper. She is survived by her husband of 32 years, Joseph Archie Lowery, Jr.; her daughters, Charlotte Hopper, Revonda Lowery and Cathy Graham and husband, Vincent; her sons, Charles Osteen and wife, Chona, Preston Osteen and wife, Susan, Don Revels and wife, Connie and Joseph D. Lowery and wife, Janine; sister, Ann Wotell and husband John; eleven grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren. Jackie will be remembered as a compassionate and loving person who welcomed all into her home. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Joseph A.
