Mrs. Mary Florence Pittman, 65, passed away at her home on Monday, June 12, 2023. She was born in New Bedford, MA on October 1, 1957, to the late Donald Pearson & Barbara Pearson Cashwell Lamb. She loved taking trips to the beach and viewing lighthouses and going fishing. She enjoyed very much her career in nursing and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her very special stepfather, Bobby Lamb; and her sisters: Vicki Walters, Deborah Pearson, and Christina Pearson.

She is survived by her husband, Billy Pittman of the home; her children, Edward Hester, Jr. and longtime companion Atalia of Fayetteville, NC and Amy Hammonds and husband Donnie of Lumberton, NC; her stepchildren, Don Pittman of Garner, NC and Sharon Martin of Fayetteville, NC; her grandchildren: Kayla, Calista, Craven, Braxton, Abigail, John-Patrick, and Alyssa; her great-grandchildren: Chase, Liam, and Ethan; and her sisters, Barbara Prevatte of Lumberton, NC and Donna Spencer and husband Andy of Cocoa Beach, FL.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
