Mrs. Mary Mabel Denise Barnes Britt, age 63, of Lumberton, NC, passed away Saturday, December 21, 2019, Southeastern Hospice House in Lumberton. She was born in Robeson County, NC on May 4, 1956. She will be remembered for her years as a Teacher's Assistant for the Public Schools of Robeson County.

She was preceded in death by her father, Charles L. Barnes, and a brother, Charles Derwood Barnes.

She is survived by her mother, Judy Barnes Miller of Lumberton, NC; her husband, Garry Lee Britt of the home; her children: Tonya Long (Chris) of Bladenboro, NC and Garry Lee Britt II (Farrah) of the home; four grandchildren: Cody Long and Amber Long, both of Bladenboro, NC, and John Britt and Hannah Britt, both of the home; a step-granddaughter, Kylie Britt of the home; and two sisters, Vicky Talton (Johnny) and Jan Lee (Tommy), both of Lumberton.

The family will receive friends prior to the service on Thursday, December 26, 2019, from 1:00-2:00 PM at Floyd Mortuary & Crematory, Inc., 809 E. 5 ^th Street in Lumberton, NC. Following the visitation, a funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM in the chapel with Pastor Mark Meadows officiating.

Burial will follow at Gardens of Faith Cemetery, 5190 Fayetteville Road in Lumberton, NC.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN  38105.
