Mrs. Mary Ellen Spaulding Dahl, age 70, of 135 W. Dew Rd. Fairmont passed away Tuesday, February 12, 2013 at McLeod Hospice of Florence, S.C. She was born November 29, 1942 in Robeson County to the late William and Mattie Burleson Spaulding. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by seven brothers and a grandson. She is survived by her husband, Waltz "Buddy" Dahl of the home; two sons, Greg Dahl of Pasadena, MD; and Jeff Dahl and wife Melanie of Fairmont; one daughter, Connie Dipinto of Baltimore, MD; two brothers, Gerald Spaulding of Asheville and Cardell Spaulding of Raleigh; three grandchildren, Mia Dahl, Sarah Dipinto, and Ronnie Dahl, Jr. and one great-grandchild. Funeral services will be held Friday, February 15, 2013 at 7:00 P.M. at Hyde Park Baptist Church in Lumberton with Rev. Dennis Harrell officiating. Burial will be Saturday, February 16, 2013 at 1:00 P.M. at New Bethel Methodist Church Cemetery in Rowland. Visitation will be held Friday, February 15, 2013 from 5:00-7:00 P.M. at Hyde Park Baptist Church in Lumberton.
