Mary Ann Carter Hunt ("Aunt Baby"), 85, of Lumberton, NC, died on Friday, July 15, 2022, at UNC Health Southeastern in Lumberton, NC.

Aunt Baby is preceded in death by her parents, Lawrence and Ada Carter; her husband, Worth Hunt; four brothers: James Pete Carter, Earlie Ike Carter, William Bo Carter, and Bland Dunk Carter; and three sisters: Clercie Mank Oxendine, Berlie Huddie Tyler, and Necie Carter.

She is survived by a whole host nieces and nephews, extended family, and friends.

Aunt Baby was married to the love of her life, Worth Hunt, for 52 years. She worked for the Pepsi-Cola Bottling Company for 30 years. During her retired years, she loved spending time with her many nieces and nephews, visiting with them on the porch of her home, where they would just talk and watch TV together.

The family will receive friends and loved ones prior to the service on Monday evening, July 18, 2022, from 6:00-8:00 PM at Floyd Memorial Chapel, 809 E. 5th Street in Lumberton, NC. Following the visitation, a funeral service will be held at 8:00 PM.

Burial will take place on Tuesday, July 19, 2022, at 11:00 AM at New Point Baptist Church Cemetery in Lumberton, NC.
