Mr. Marvin Junior Oxendine, age 85, of Pembroke, NC passed away Wednesday, November 29, 2023 at his home surrounded by his family.

Mr. Oxendine was born on January 1, 1938 in Robeson County to the late Jess Oxendine and the late Leanna Bartley Jacobs.

In addition to his parents Mr. Oxendine is preceded in death by his wife, Marylin Oxendine; six brothers, Datris Oxendine, Horace Oxendine, Terry Jacobs, Larry Jacobs, Stacey Bartley and Brisco Bartley; and one sister, Lisanna Lovette.

Mr. Oxendine is survived by one son, Melvin Oxendine of Lumberton; four daughters, Deanna Oxendine Walker and Carol Locklear, both of Lumberton and Betty Deese and Linda Bell, both of Pembroke; one brother, Eddie Jacobs of Pembroke; one sister, Ruthie Jane of Lumberton; along with several grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.

A time of visitation will be held Saturday, December 2, 2023 from 6:00-8:00PM at Floyd Funeral Services in Fairmont.

A Funeral Service will be held on Sunday December 3, 2023 at 2:00PM at Floyd Funeral Services Chapel in Fairmont with Rev. Ricky Burnette officiating.

Burial will follow in Fairpoint Freewill Baptist Church Cemetery in Fairmont.
