Marty Franklin Britt, age 44, of Evergreen, passed away Thursday, August 16, 2018. He was born June 25, 1974 in Robeson County. He was formerly employed with Wesley Pines Retirement Center.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Berdell Britt, Sr., and his maternal grandfather, Vander Britt.

Mr. Britt is survived by his father, Roderick Berdell Britt, Jr. of Ocean Isle Beach; his paternal grandmother, Betty Jo Clark and husband Johnny of Fairmont; his mother, Cathy Britt of Evergreen; his maternal grandmother, Natha Leigh Britt of Lumberton; his sister, Crystal Britt Bowen and husband Brantley and their daughter Abigail, all of Evergreen; three aunts: Belinda Wilcox and husband Dickie, Gail Bullard and husband Ronnie, and Paula Britt, all of Lumberton; and four special cousins: Renee, Brett, Toi, and Jamie.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, August 18, 2018, from 6:00-8:00 PM at Floyd Mortuary & Crematory, Inc. in Lumberton and other times at the home of Ronnie & Gail Bullard, 403 Brookgreen Drive in Lumberton.

A funeral service will be held on Sunday, August 19, 2018, at 3:00 PM at Bethesda United Methodist Church, 8414 S. Creek Road in Orrum, with Rev. Jane Almon and Rev. James Graham officiating. Burial will follow in the church's cemetery.
