Mrs. Martha Eagerton Tucker, age 67, passed away Monday, January 11, 2016 at her home. She was born in Dillon, SC on January 21, 1948. She was a Registered Nurse, formerly employed with Wesley Pines Retirement Community.

She was preceded in death by her father, Clifford Eagerton; her daughter and son-in-law, Beverly Lynn and Harold Britt; and a brother, Dewey Eagerton.

She is survived by her mother, Sue Eagerton of Lumberton; her husband, Carlos Tucker of the home; four daughters: Tonya Meares and husband John of Lumberton, Teri Ussery and husband David of Pembroke, Carla Sherwood and husband Steven of Lumberton, and Renee Leggett and husband Todd of Lumberton; one sister, Patricia Lee and husband Mitchell of Lumberton; 14 grandchildren; and 8 great-grandchildren.

A time of visitation will take place on Wednesday, January 13, 2016, from 6:00-8:00 PM at Floyd Mortuary & Crematory, Inc.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 14, 2016, at 11:00 AM at Floyd Memorial Chapel with Rev. Gary Lucas and Rev. Thomas Meares officiating. Burial will follow at Gardens of Faith.
