Martha Faye Strickland Britt, age 83, of Fairmont, NC passed away Friday, May 26, 2023 at her home surrounded by her loving family.

Ms. Britt was born July 19, 1939 in Horry County, SC to the late Wallie Strickland and the late Leona Dudley Strickland. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Vernon Britt; two brothers, Billy Jo and Franklin Strickland; two sisters, Ovalene Fax and Sadie Soles.

She leaves to cherish her memories one son Michael Britt (Jamie) of Fairmont, NC; one daughter, Monica Faye Coffman (John) of Virginia Beach, Va.; one brother, James Strickland (Shirley) of Jacksonville, Fla. three grandsons, Joshua Coffman, Michael Brandon Britt and Christian Hunter Britt; one great-grandchild, Oakley Britt; two special friends, Wanda Oliver and Lucy Parker and a host of other relatives and friends.

A time of visitation will be held Tuesday, May 30, 2023 from 6:00 PM -8:00 PM at Floyd Funeral Services 1549 Marion Stage Rd. Fairmont, NC. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, May 31, 2023 at 1:00 PM at Floyd Funeral Services Chapel with Rev. John Spence officiating. Burial will follow in Floyd Memorial Cemetery 1549 Marion Stage Rd. Fairmont, NC.

In lieu of flowers memorial may be made to Barnesville Baptist Church 234 Barnesville Church Rd. Orrum, NC 28369.
