Marshall Lynn Floyd, age 56, of Lumberton, NC died on Monday, March 21, 2016 at Southeastern Regional Medical Center in Lumberton.  He was born in Robeson County, NC on February 12, 1960 to Ray Floyd and the late Lois Cox Britt Floyd.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Lois Cox Britt Floyd; and a grand-nephew, Ryan Shakelford.

Mr. Floyd is survived by his father, Ray Floyd of Lumberton; a brother, Rickie Britt of Lumberton; a sister, Wanda Britt May (Jerry) of Lumberton; five nieces, four grand-nephews, and one grand-niece.

The funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 24, 2016 at 11:00 AM at Floyd Memorial Chapel with Rev. George Connor and Pastor Billy Wafford officiating. Burial will follow in Gardens of Faith Cemetery.

A time of visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 23, 2016 from 7:00-9:00 PM at Floyd Mortuary & Crematory, Inc., 809 East 5th Street in Lumberton and others times at the home of Wanda May, 2099 N. Broadridge Road in Lumberton.
