Mr. Mark Leslie  Halliburton, age 58, passed away on Monday, October 5, 2026. He was born in Robeson County, NC on December 4, 1967 to the late Gerald Thomas & Geraldine Halliburton.

Along with his father, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Leslie Ann Halliburton, and a brother-in-law, Ricky Hickman.

He is survived by his beloved son, Christian Thomas Halliburton, his pride and joy; his mother, Geraldine Halliburton and special friend Dave Hucks; his brother, Lynn Halliburton (Janene); his sister, Pamela Hickman; his nephews, Andrew Thomas Halliburton and Adam Hickman; and his nieces: Emily Sheree Molesky (Kyle), Shelby Lynn Halliburton (Bradley), and Holly Ann Hickman. He also leaves behind many cousins, aunts, uncles, and friends in which he was so proud and honored to have in his life.

Mark served for a brief time in the United States Marines and was very proud of his country. After retiring from the City of Lumberton, Mark did lawn care for many years. He loved his job and took pride in every part of it.

Mark started attending Sandhill Baptist Church and began a new relationship with God. He was a man of strength, yet tenderness when it really mattered. He was proud to be a part of a church family again and loved to talk about and reflect on Sunday's service the entire afternoon.

Above all, if you knew Mark, you knew his greatest passion, love and his best friend was his son, Chris. Mark always smiled and lit up with pure father's pride when speaking of his son.

Mark loved where his life was at and had worked very hard to become the man he always was. He loved his family and always made sure to take the time to spend moments with them.

Mark traveled a bumpy road in life, however, at the end, he truly found the paved road of pure happiness.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 9, 2026, at 1:00 PM at Meadowbrook Cemetery in Lumberton, NC. The family will receive friends at the graveside following the service.
