Marjorie Bullock Hester, 73, of Lumberton, NC died on Saturday, February 18, 2012 at Golden Living Center in Lumberton. She was born in Robeson County, NC on May 27, 1938 to the late Rochelle Bullock and the late Dula Anderson Bullock. She was a homemaker.

Mrs. Hester is survived by her husband, Olen Hester, Sr. of the home; six sons, David Bullock and wife Evelyn of Lumberton, Carlton Rochelle Hester of Tabor City, Olen Leland ??Bit? Hester, Jr. of Lumberton, Richard Lee Hester and wife Karol of Lumberton, James Steven Hester and wife Kristin of Lumberton and Bobby Ray Hester of Lumberton; two daughters, Janice Marie Hosler and fiancée Mark Branch and Sonya McGirt and husband Chris both of Lumberton; one brother, Lester Bullock of Dundarrach; seven sisters, Virginia Britt of Lumberton, Linda Faye Roper of AZ, Phyllis Allen of Lumberton, Carmelita Barnes of Orrum, Katie Rich of Red Springs, Bernice Sanderson of Raeford and Elease Grimsley of Pinehurst; fifteen grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 22, 2012 at 2:00 PM at Floyd Memorial Chapel in Lumberton with Rev. Wayne Sanderson officiating. Burial will follow in Gardens of Faith Cemetery in Lumberton.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, February 21, 2012 from 7:00-9:00 PM at Floyd Mortuary & Crematory, Inc., 809 E. 5th Street in Lumberton.
