Marjorie Burnett DiGiovine, age 69, of Lumberton, NC died on Thursday, April 21, 2011 at Carrol S. Roberson/E. Carlton Powell Hospice House Center in Fayetteville, NC. She was born in Robeson County, NC on April 12, 1942 to Marvin Burnett and Mary Aggie Carter Burnett. She previously worked as a machine operator for Waverly Press.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, William Paul DiGiovine; and a son, Vincent Paul DiGiovine.

Mrs. DiGiovine is survived by a daughter, Pauladina Sessoms and husband, Marc of Aberdeen, NC; three brothers, Carlie Burnett of Baltimore, MD, Bobby Burnett and Eddie Burnett both of Lumberton, NC; and five granddaughters.

A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, April 25, 2011 at 3:00 PM at Floyd Memorial Chapel with Rev. William David Hammonds officiating. A time for visitation will follow the service.
