Marilyn Lawson Sealy, age 81, of Orrum, passed away Friday, June 25, 2021, in Little River, SC.

She was born October 27, 1939 in Robeson County, NC.

Ms. Sealy worked as an insurance agent at Robeson Insurance for over 55 years and a was a member of Bethesda United Methodist Church.

Ms. Sealy was preceded in death by her parents, Graddy and Ida Lawson; her husband, George Sealy; brothers, Roney Lawson, Ertle Lawson, Clinton Lawson and Lemuel Lawson; sisters, Ruth Davis, Dorothy Lloyd, Delma Smith, Mildred Shumpert and Roxie Cordray; and a grandson, Brandon Callahan.

She is survived by a daughter, Lori Leggett and husband Mark; a son, Louis Sealy and wife Beverly; a brother, Harris Lawson; three grandchildren, Chase Leggett, Craig Sealy, Blaine Sealy and wife Morgan; three great-grandchildren, Lizzie, Bryleigh and Kamden; a special caregiver, Brittany Cook and Alisha and Drake Payne.

A graveside service will be held 11 a.m. Monday, June 28, 2021 in Floyd Memorial Cemetery in Fairmont.
