Marilyn ??Mue? Russ, 57, of Lumberton, departed this life on Tuesday, March 13, 2012 surrounded by her family and loved ones. Marilyn was born on October 7, 1954 to Levie and Eva Davis Russ.

She was preceded in death by her father; brothers, Zane Russ and Manley Russ; and a sister Wanda Russ.

In addition to her mother, Eva Russ, Marilyn is survived by her loving daughter Melissa Wiggins Sanderson and her husband Danny of Lumberton; two special grandsons, Devin Wiggins and Evan Nance; her brother Donald ??Buck? Russ; sisters, Janice Britt and Doretha ??Tootsie? Powell both of Fairmont; Joanne McLamb of VA and Linda Martin of Raleigh; and many loving nieces and nephews and loving and caring friends.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, March 16, 2012 at 2:00 PM at Floyd Memorial Chapel in Lumberton with Rev. Roosevelt Scott officiating. Burial will follow in Floyd Memory Gardens in Lumberton.

Visitation will be on Thursday, March 15, 2012 from 7:00-9:00 PM at Floyd Mortuary & Crematory, Inc., 809 E. 5th Street in Lumberton.
