Mrs. Marilyn Rose Caulk Hughes, age 68, of Fairmont, NC, passed away Friday, February 12, 2021, at her home. She was born on April 21, 1952 in Robeson County, NC.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Alton Kenneth Caulk and Ila Mae Baxley; a nephew Will Leggett; and one sister, Jen Atkinson.

She is survived by her husband, Ronald L. Hughes of the home; a daughter, Sarah Kathryn Hughes of Shallotte, NC; a son, Ronald Andrew Hughes of Fairmont, NC; three sisters: Ruby Kempf and husband Chuck of Fremont, MI, Nell Leggett and husband Jerry of Fairmont, NC, and Libby Branch and husband Cary of Lumberton, NC; a brother, Kenny Caulk of Franklinton, NC; a sister-in-law, Laura Blackley of N. Myrtle Beach, SC; a brother-in-law, Robb Hughes of Lumberton, NC; along with numerous nieces, nephews, and a special friend, Rebecca Hunt.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, February 17, 2021, at 11:00 AM at Floyd Memorial Cemetery in Fairmont.
