Marie Davis Parker, age 74, of Lumberton, NC passed away at Southeastern Health on Saturday, January 31, 2015. She was born in Robeson County, NC on March 15, 1940 to the late Johnnie William and Emma Taylor Davis. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Carl D. Parker, and a brother, Eugene Davis. Mrs. Parker is survived by her sons, Johnny Carl Parker and wife, Tina, and Steven Eugene Parker and wife, Tina, of Lumberton; a daughter, Tina Parker Britt and husband, Tony, of Lumberton; brothers, Johnny Floyd Davis wife, Hilda, and Clarence Davis wife, Sharon, of Lumberton; a sister Dovie Carter and husband, Ertle Max of Lumberton; and four grandchildren, Johnathan Parker, Katelin Parker, Jordan Parker, and Jacob Parker. A time of visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 3, 2015 from 7:00-9:00 PM at Floyd Mortuary & Crematory, Inc., 809 East 5th Street in Lumberton and at other times at the home of Johnny & Hilda Davis, 1481 Beulah Church Road. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 4, 2015 at 4:00 PM at Antioch Baptist Church with Rev. Tony Stevens and Rev. Johnny Bruce officiating. Burial will follow in the Clewis Family Cemetery on Beulah Church Road in Lumberton.
