Ms. Marie Britt Lane, age 78, of White Oak, NC, passed away Thursday, April 25, 2019, at Elizabethtown Nursing Center in Elizabethtown, NC. She was born on June 11, 1940, in Robeson County to the late Leon Buddy Britt and the late Artie Haywood.

She is survived by her daughter, Carolyn Bailey of Waynesville, NC; four grandchildren: Karen Suggs (Ben), Bruce Wayne Baker (Lisa), Michael Floyd, Jr. (Chelsea), and James Edward Floyd II (Felisa); fourteen great-grandchildren; and one sister, Pauline Kelly of Lumberton, NC.

A memorial service will be held Sunday, April 28, 2019 at 4:00 P.M. at Bethlehem United Methodist Church, 72 Bethlehem Methodist Church Road in White Oak, with Rev. Karen Davis.
