Mrs. Lois Marie Baxley Collins, age 87, of Lumberton, passed away on Wednesday, October 28, 2015 at Southeastern Regional Medical Center in Lumberton. She was born in Hoke County on May 16, 1928 to the late Frank Baxley and the late Bonnie Leach Baxley. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Howard Collins. Memories of her are cherished by her two sons, James Michael Collins and David Joseph Collins and wife, Linda, all of Raleigh; two granddaughters, Emily and Sarah and one great-granddaughter, Charlotte Ann. A time of visitation will be held on Sunday, November 1, 2015 from 2:00-3:00PM at Floyd Mortuary & Crematory, Inc., 809 East 5th Street Lumberton. A funeral service will follow at 3:00PM at Floyd Memorial Chapel with Rev. Joe Bounds officiating. Burial will follow at Meadowbrook Cemetery in Lumberton.
