Margaret W. Britt, age 63, of Lumberton, NC passed away at her residence on Saturday, January 24, 2015. She was born in McColl, SC on August 23, 1951 to the late Richard and Martha Sasser Woodell. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend to many. Mrs. Britt is survived by her husband, James "Buddy" Britt of the home; a son, James "Sonny" Britt (Sybil) of Lumberton; a daughter, April Britt Adasiewicz (John) of Pulaski, WI; a brother, Douglas Woodell of Lumberton; and two grandchildren, Amber and Alex Adasiewicz. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 27, 2015 from 7:00-9:00 PM at Floyd Mortuary & Crematory, Inc., 809 East 5th Street in Lumberton. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 28, 2015 at 2:00 PM at Floyd Memorial Chapel with Rev. David Anderson officiating. Burial will follow the service in New Hollywood Cemetery in Lumberton.
