Margaret Buie White, age 93, passed away Thursday, April 10, 2014 at Highland Acres Nursing of Lumberton. She was born in Robeson County on February 17, 1921 to the late Malcolm Archibald Buie and the Joanna Musselwhite Buie. She was formerly employed as a postal clerk. Along with her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, former Representative Frank S. White, Sr., three sisters, one brother, and a granddaughter, Joanna White. She is survived by her sons, Thomas Michael White and wife, Maria, of Albuquerque, NM, and Frank White, Jr. and wife, Julie, of Williamston, NC; her daughter, Margaret Elizabeth White, of Lumberton; five grandchildren, Michael White and wife, Jackie, Mitchell White and fiancé, Julie Foster, Maria Christina White, Madeline White, and Crystle White; five great-grandchildren, Logan Pittman, Dylan Sirmans, Miranda White, Isaiah Chavez, and Adrianna White; and one great-great-grandchild, Lyric Gallien.
