Margaret Walters Richardson, 77, of Lumberton, died Thursday, January 19, 2023 at New Hanover Regional Medical Center in Wilmington, NC.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert Lee Walters and Bertha Hayes Walters; her husband, Billy Ray Richardson; a stepdaughter, Billie Regina Sanchez; two brothers, Guthrie Walters and Roger Walters; and a sister, Geraldine Ivey.

She is survived by two stepchildren, Timmy Richardson and Sandra Nance; three brothers, Ronald Walters and Lacy Walters, both of Charlotte, and Paul Walters of Dillon, SC; two sisters, Betty Kirby of Mullins, SC and Sara Bass of Fairmont; six step grandchildren; four step great grandchildren; and many special nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family members.

The visitation will be from 12 to 2 p.m. Monday, January 23, 2023 at Floyd Mortuary & Crematory, Inc. in Lumberton.

The funeral will follow at 2 p.m. in the Floyd Memorial Chapel, with Pastor Todd Stout officiating.

Burial will be 3:30 p.m. Monday, January 23, 2023 at Boardman Pentecostal Holiness Church Cemetery in Boardman.
