Margaret Marinda "Rinda" Parnell Stone was born February 4, 1939 to Lewis and Elizabeth Parnell in Knoxville, TN. She passed away peacefully on Tuesday night, March 11, 2025, at her home with her family by her side.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 71 years, Charles William Stone; their son, William Mark; their daughter, Billie Denise; her sisters, Jerri and Mary Lew, including her twin, Linda; and her brother, Michael Parnell.

Rinda was a caregiver in her older years, after first raising three children: Billie Denise Clark (Kevin), Charles Stephen Stone I (Renee), William Mark, and Rebecca Gayle Stone. She was blessed to have twelve grandchildren: William Walker (Lisa), Melissa Stone, Jamie Webb, Charles Stephen Stone II (Iveth), Christopher Worshek (Dee), Ryan Worshek (Lanie), Joseph Smith (Ashley), Austin Clark (Brandy), Nicholas Clark (Audrey), Anthony, Autumn, and Amber Rossi; along with twenty-two great-grandchildren: Miranda, Dakota, Stephen Micheal, Elizabeth Gail, Karlie, Halie, Cameron, Alyssa, Christian Brant, William Emmit, Charles Stephen III, Tyler, Stephen, Scarlett, Kodie, Avery, Charleigh, Sawyer, Bentley, Paul, Danilo, and Camilla; 5 great-great-grandchildren; a sister, Gail Raynor (Tim) of Ft. Smith, VA; a host of niece and nephews; and her longtime caregiver and very special friend, Joyce Barnes.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, March 14, 2025, at 2:00PM at New Hollywood Cemetery with Pastor Darrin Moore officiating.  A time of visitation will follow at the graveside.
