Margaret Ann Pickett's Obituary
Margaret Ann Clewis Pickett, age 80, of Fayetteville, passed away Thursday, March 1, 2018, at Duke Medical Center in Durham. She was born November 16, 1937 in Robeson County to the late Rozier D. Clewis and the late Sarah Humphrey Clewis. She was formerly employed as a nurse at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
She is survived by her children: John David Yates and Tony A. Pickett, both of Lumberton, Sarah Marie White of Dunnellon, FL, and Susan Stone of Louisiana; 9 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Rozier Dale Clewis of Myrtle Beach, SC.
The family will receive friends prior to the service on Saturday, March 10, 2018, from 12:00-2:00 PM at Floyd Mortuary & Crematory, Inc. at 809 E. 5th Street in Lumberton.
Following the visitation, a funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM in the Chapel with Rev. Donald Goforth officiating. Burial will follow at Meadowbrook Cemetery in Lumberton.
