Margaret Meares Miller, 71, of 1249 Pine Run Drive, Lumberton, NC died Friday, April 11,
2008 at Southeastern Hospice House in Lumberton, NC. She was born in Sumter County, SC on
October 17, 1936 to the late Arther and Etta Meares.
She was also preceded in death by her husband, Ertel ??BoBo? Baxley.
She is survived by her husband, Troy Miller of Lumberton, NC; 1 son, Mike Gray and wife,
Billie of Lumberton, NC; 1 daughter, Janet Newton and husband, Jim of Lumberton, NC; 2
stepsons, Steve Miller and wife, Emily of Taylors, SC and Dale Miller and wife, Carrie of
Lumberton, NC; 1 brother, Billy Meares of Lumberton, NC; 2 sisters, Patty Bryan of Lumberton,
NC and Wanda Herring of San Antonio, TX; 5 grandchildren, Rodney Gray, Melissa Quick,
Meagan Newton, Lauren Miller and Mitchell Miller; and 3 great grandchildren, Lexie Gray,
Abby Gray and Marley Quick.
The funeral service will be Sunday, April 13, 2008 at Floyd Memorial Chapel at 2:00 p.m.
with Dr. Martin Brooks officiating.
The family will receive friends Saturday, April 12, 2008 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Floyd Mortuary & Crematory, Inc.
