Margaret Dale Mccarthy's Obituary
Mrs. "Margaret Dale" McCarthy, age 69, of Lumberton, passed away on Sunday, February 11, 2018, at her residence in Lumberton. She was born in Robeson County, NC on July 19, 1948 to the late William P. Elam and the late Ina Futrell Elam.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a son, Paul Elam McCarthy.
She leaves to cherish her memories with her husband, Mike McCarthy of the home; two daughters: DeeDee McCarthy Rouse and husband David of Orrum and Michelle McCarthy Smith and husband Graham of Lumberton; and three grandchildren: William Marshall Rouse and Paul and Emersyn Smith.
A time of visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 14, 2018, from 6:00-8:00 PM at Floyd Mortuary & Crematory, Inc. in Lumberton.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 15, 2018, at 3:00 PM at Floyd Memorial Chapel with Rev. Joe Bounds officiating. Burial will follow at Gardens of Faith Cemetery in Lumberton.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Paul Elam McCarthy Memorial Fund at NC State University (see link on left side panel of this page).
