Mrs. Margaret Potter Leggette, age 83 of Fairmont passed away Saturday, February 4, 2012 at the Southeastern Hospice House in Lumberton, NC.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, February 7, 2012 at 11:00 A.M. at Floyd Funeral Services Chapel in Fairmont with Revs. Jesse Yarbrough and Dean Carter officiating.

Burial will be in Floyd Memorial Cemetery.

Visitation will be Monday, February 6, 2012 from 6-8 pm at Floyd Funeral Services in Fairmont.

Ms. Leggette was born November 30, 1928 in Robeson County. She was a member of First Baptist Church and a retired Book Keeper.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Doug Potter and Eturah Williams Potter, a brother, Ben Potter.

Survived by her husband, Edward Bruce Leggette of the home, a daughter, Mary Jernigan and husband Frank of Fairmont, three sons, Wyman Leggette and wife Kathy of Holly Springs, NC, Len Leggette and wife Donna of Greensboro, NC and Andy Leggette and wife Velvet of Garner, NC, a special daughter, Avis Hicks of Fairmont, a sister, Nell Bracey of Lumberton; ten grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
