Mrs. Margaret Hardin Leggett, age 89, of Fairmont passed away Saturday, April 26, 2025 at UNC Health Southeastern in Lumberton.

Ms. Margaret was born June 25, 1935 in Robeson County to the late Gregory Haynes and the late Alma Lee Haynes.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Leggett; two sons, Larry Leggett and Anthony Leggett.

She is survived by a daughter, Debbie Leggett (Jim) of Fairmont; one sister, Claudia Dent of Fairmont; four grandchildren, Christi Henderson (Matt), Taylor Powell (Cameron), Travis Sealey and Ryan Sealey (Courtney), and a daughter-in-law, Tammy Leggett, other family and friends.

A time of visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 30, 2025 from 2:00PM-3:00PM at Floyd Funeral Services, 1549 Marion Stage Road, Fairmont. Funeral services will immediately follow in the Chapel at 3:00PM.

Burial will follow in Floyd Memorial Cemetery.
