Margaret Ann Branch, 98, of Lumberton, died on Monday, June 15th in Glen Flora assisted living facility.

She is preceded in death by her parents Riley and Mary Baxley; her husband, Alex Branch, Sr.; her son, John David "Johnny" Branch; her brother, Riley Morrison Baxley, Jr.; her sister, Jean Phillips Baxley Powers; her nephew, W.T. Powers, and her daughter-in-law, Kimberly Branch.

She is survived by her son, Alex Branch, Jr. of Lumberton; her grandson, Joshua Alexander Branch of Lumberton; her great granddaughter, Aubreigh Josephine Berry of Fairmont; her niece, Caryl of Lumberton and her daughter-in-law Tracy Branch of St. Augustine, FL.

Margaret will be most remembered for her service to Merrita Bread Company, and also for her service to Raft Swamp Baptist Church, where she played the piano for over 40 years.

To celebrate her life, there will be a graveside service held for Margaret on Friday, June 19th at Raft Swamp Baptist Church Cemetery, starting at 11:00 am, Tim Tyner officiating.
