Ms. Margaret Walters Baxley, age 89, of Ocean Isle Beach, NC, passed away Saturday, July 31, 2021, at Grand Strand Medical Center in Myrtle Beach, SC. She was born in Robeson County, NC on July 19, 1932 to the late Charlie B. Walters and the late Gracie Lee Stone Walters.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Charlie "Buddy" Walters, Jr., and a sister, Nancy Wilcox.

She is survived by her children: Patricia Britt Collins of Lumberton, NC, Deanna Baxley Rhyne of Texas, Wendy B. Goodman (Ricky) of Lumberton, NC, and Billy Baxley of Ocean Isle Beach, NC; 5 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren plus one on the way; and a sister, Hazel Brisson (Elbert) of Bladenboro, NC.

The family will receive friends on Friday, August 6, 2021, from 12:30-3:00 PM at the home of Wendy & Ricky Goodman, 102 Canterbury Circle in Lumberton, NC.

A private graveside service will be held at New Hollywood Cemetery in Lumberton, NC.
