Marcia Kay Stewart, RN, 71, of Lumberton, NC, died Monday, September 13, 2021, at UNC Health Southeastern in Lumberton, NC.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles Edward Stewart, Sr. and Mary Catherine Garner Stewart.

She is survived by her former companion, Dr. Andre Dobson of Atlanta, GA; a daughter, Rachael Bolden (Charles) of Monessen, PA; a son, Andre Dobson II (Wakako) of Orlando, FL; two brothers, Charles E. Stewart, Jr. (Martha) of West End, NC and Steven Stewart (Barb) of New Kensington, PA; a sister, Charlotte E. Stewart of Natrona Heights, PA; and a grandson, Charles Bolden III.

In addition to her beloved immediate family, Marcia shared a special bond with Liz Morales and her children, Tommy and Shyianna, and her friend Nancy MacPherson-Maydak. She will also be missed dearly by her loving group of cousins, nieces and nephews.

Marcia was a 1968 graduate of Har-Brack High School in Natrona Heights, PA and New Kensington, PA School of Nursing in 1969. Her RN nursing career spanned over 50 years. Most recently, she had been a nursing instructor at Bladen Community College and Robeson Community College in North Carolina. She shared her knowledge and expertise with hundreds of students and was instrumental in preparing them for success in a medical career.

Marcia was a native of Pittsburgh, PA and an avid fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers and collector of items bearing their logo.
